Having a wide area authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration for Washington Dulles International Airport’s Class B airspace allows us to fly within some of the most secure and restrictive airspace in the world.

We’re able to obtain instant airspace authorizations for most other areas in the Washington, D.C. Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) which is the blue shaded area of the map. sUAS operations inside the Washington, D.C. Flight Restrictive Zone (FRZ) indicated in red on the map, requires additional waivers and authorizations from the FAA and TSA for specific flights and can require up to 90 days to process.
